OFFLINE MARKETING

Anyone know of a reliable source to get some numbers for craigslist? I just need 1 so I can verify myself a new account.

If you are looking to pay then maybe get a VirginMobile cell phone or vonage phone number.

If you want something for free get a Google number and forward it to your cell phone. I am not 100% sure if CL can tell the difference.

I don't do it anymore, but for awhile I was doing some various CPA marketing on CL and constantly needed a new phone number for new accounts. What I did was get a MagicJack, which was $40 and includes a phone number. Then every time I needed a new number I would buy a new one, which would cost $10. Obviously it wasn't free, but it was much cheaper than getting a whole new phone line.

Best way to go is find a company that will give you some disposable numbers... you can find these searching google anywhere from $3-8 per number. Cheaper than adding a new phone line, but still a pain. You can forward those numbers to your main phone.

That's good to know. This was probably 18 months ago or so when I was just learning about CPA when I used MagicJack. I made a couple hundred bucks from CPA & Craigslist, but found it wasn't really a long lasting strategy. Definitely not something to build a business around.
