OFFLINE MARKETING

I am currently having a problem with my server, my site was down 4 days last week and also down this morning, if I change server this will change my IP address, what I need to know will this affect my site in the search rankings, as at the moment my site can be found using different search words,
I am not asking about my site google or alexa ranking as this should not change

I don't think changing your IP will do anything to your rankings. But I'm not an expert in that area.

You could try asking the question at the v7n forum, who are a bunch of nice people who concentrate on these computer issues.

  Many thanks for your time and reply , I do not really want to sign up to another forum, I was not asking about my ranking but more the search rank side of it , I see 23 people have read this but you are the only one to reply, so it looks like a subject that little know about, food for thought for all those tech knows
