if you know how to make facebook fanpages you can call local businesses and sell them for 197$ or 100$ if you want. its pretty easy for some quick cash.

Have you been using a certain script to do this? I have been looking into some different ones. Any recommendations?

Yupp, I was designing AND setting them up for a fee of $200....takes me less than 2 hours and I could easily do 3-4 a day if I had a steady flow. That includes the main welcome graphic and matching profile pic. I use TabPress app to do all my clients' pages.....its pretty easy. Of course you need to have a decent set of design and layout skills and do it yourself or have access to a cheap designer to create them. And you can absolutely make $200-400 a day doing this IF you can keep landing new clients. Its all about how you pitch it....

I was considering doing a WSO and offering my services (design and the complete TabPress walkthrough) for $100 so people could re-sell the fan page package to clients for $100 or whatever they wanted. Would that be legit, or kinda pointless? Its an easy walk-through....the hadrest part is creating the actual design. Here's a few samples from my Facebook page:

Do you also charge a monthly for hosting, etc. or just $200 flat rate?

I personally wouldnt feel right squeezing them for an extra monthly hosting fee....I host all the images for free using Photobucket. I have done about 8 fan pages so far in the last 3 months and they all agreed to $200. I may have got more but I didnt wanna push it. Again it would take a decent designer no more than 2 hours to complete....then you just upload the HTML code into TabPress

I agree with you on not wanting to charge any more than a fair amount but from my understanding with custom fanpages in an iframe these pages must be hosted somewhere unlike before with the fbml. Am I mistaken about this?

I keep getting different stories from the various fb fanpage wso's. Everyone knows that facebook is free so to have to tack on a monthly hosting charge for creating a like/reveal page or other custom fan page I have not felt good about that.

Any help in clarifying this would be appreciated.

Thanks Alson, and AdMan yes its super easy to host images on a free image hosting site like Photobucket. Takes me 60 seconds to upload and copy the HTML code that Photobucket generates so whats the point of charging them a monthly hosting fee? I think its a bit unnecessary I guess....

Yeah if once could develop a nice streamlined system for landing constant new clients it could be a lucrative little business venture. 3-5 fan pages a day could be done easily @ $200 a pop, even $150 if they put up a fight. Split 50/50 and everyone is happy
