How do I help a client target multiple cities?

Is this possible on Google Places?

Do I need to make multiple websites to target each city?

    I have used different exact match domains for different cities a client wants to target or you can create a new page on the site for each city.

    As far as Google Places, you can use the UPS Store mailbox workaround to have listings in different cities if the client does not have a physical location in those cities.

    There are tons of threads on here about Google Places.

    You'll meed multiplie pages on the site targeting each specific city. You may to include a "Service Areas" that lists the various cities on a single page. Follow this up with ongoing blog postings and link building and you'll be ranking highly in several months.

    Use geo-targeting keywords in meta tags and content, then submit them to local directories depending on which city your client wants to target.

      Don,
      Why not do some mega kick butt keyword research for step 1. Then build a keyword rich domain site around that keyword.

      Get some amazing content written or outsource, make sure the ON Page SEO is Flawless. Since the client is paying to build the site Charge him $500 a pop do a 1 site build for each city. If he wants to expand you could do
      Wordpress MU Site and Add Addtional Keyword pharsed sites within the MU site and crush the CITY for his Stuff.

      Then Make the Ad copy and Sidebars unique to him as well as the contact form and a phone #.

      That's what i would do, i would just show them the value of crushing each city, one by one, and by targeting keywords in a laser mode you win and the client finds you to be a Rock Star.
