It IS good, but your post title and a 40-minute video with no preamble ain't gonna get much viewership.

So, Everyone:

Frank Kern and buddy John Reese go visit Tony Robbins because they find out that 72% (SEVENTY-TWO PERCENT!!!) of people who buy info products don't do a thing about the content for at least 90 days. And you can bet that after that first 10 days goes by, there's no buy-in...no reason for the person to do anything.

Heard about this Kern guy but never saw him before. 'Course he looks nothing like the mental image. I found it amusing they were just playing games, surfing the web and cruising around like...well I wonder...I think like regular people.

And the answer Why people don't take action is...

FEAR.

And why do guys like Tony, Frank...hell, even ME for instance...Take Action and follow through? We're MORE AFRAID of staying where we are, in our current conditions, than the unknown. And we know that progress is success.

Action comes from total certainty. The way you can get to certainty is by changing your beliefs.

Everyone else is stuck in the Desire phase. And that just isn't enough to move them into "I'm totally sick of this!" and taking the action to get out. Here's a hint: it's not about the money.

And check out the last lines: You aren't going to get a push-button success machine. YOU have to put in the effort--YOU have to believe FIRST. Not have it prove itself to you that it's going to work and then you can succeed.

Tonny Robbins is an idiot that tells the same rehashed story over and over again, this guy is only in it for the money... everything he tells you is the same **** he tolled everyone 10/15 years ago... it is the same crap as the secret or Joe Vitale or Frank Kern... The only people that get rich of their programs are the people i just mentioned

Wow! There would be millions of people who would disagree with that and I'm one of them. I have seen no evidence to suggest that Tony is an idiot. Though there's no doubt they are in business (nothing wrong with that I hope), you only have to see Tony talking with people to see that he has a clear passion for making a difference in people lives. I'm guessing that the reason he tells the same stuff is that it works and helps people and people are interested in and looking for help and he helps them. There's no denying that.

He's certainly helped me and loads of people I know in countless ways. He speaks universal and undeniable truths that come from those same 10-15 years of experience. Not 100% sure about the rest of them in your statement but I've also met Frank (San Diego MC2) and though he's a bit kooky I wouldn't call him an idiot. Far from it.

But...each to their own I guess.

Well i think he is fake and the messages he sells is fake also... people like Robbins and Kern take advantage of gullible people who have mediocre lives and mediocre businesses and want to improve themselves... (just like the creators of the secret did, also something a lot of gullible people fall for)

And tada there comes Robbins and Kern and they have the solution for you, of course you will have to pay a huge amount of money but it will really help you, ans you have to attend at least 5 of there $2500 a seat seminairs, but all your problems will be solved. I feel sorry the people who paid for this kind of self help bullcrap.

I know he's got the ususal "I was broke and eating out of dumpster" type of story, but what's in between there and his info products? If anything.

Before selling his own seminars, Tony sold seminars for others. I know he sold seminars for Jim Britt. I think he was a top salesman. Then he opened his business selling seminars...

People pay all the time for help. As long as it helps and isn't a rip off then I see no real problem. I think that these guys have been around so long that if they were rubbish it would have been discovered or uncovered a long time ago. I bought Franks $2,000 MC2 package and he gave me one idea that helped me sell over 100k worth of product in one weekend. True. That was exactly what I paid him for and he delivered. As for Tony, well, it's hard to quantify gaining confidence and mental skills in terms of cash but I can say hand on heart that I have got extreme value from him to.

I can only speak about Frank and Tony from personal experience but I've seen The Secret and found it pretty uplifting. A lot of people misinterpret the message from The Secret.

I'm not trying to be negative about this, and I believe that everything he says has some truth to it since they are proven principles. There isn't much he's said that hasn't been said by dozens of other self-help gurus.

Again, that is not a put down, I believe that Tony Robbins can say the exact same thing as Zig Ziglar, or let's go way back to Napoleon Hill. None of this stuff is new, I think it's a matter of how you feel about the delivery person is the only difference.

I agree with you David to an extent. I mean, he's probably saying somethings that could be traced to other people for before his time or even in his time, but the same can be said for anybody.

Hell, I'm swimming into copywriting courses and books right now, and the basics don't change. Ideas here and there differ but the main direct response marketing strategies are the same. Even they give each other credit in each other courses. I'm sure the same goes for most industries.

Just take a look at the WSO section (or don't if you love your hard earned money), it's mostly the same things over and over with "a twist". Like you said, it's a matter of delivery and the person, and who you resonate and feel a bond with, in my opinion.

For me, I enjoy Tony. I'm not into the "self help/development" big time, but I've heard him and watched his videos and I do enjoy his passion and teachings and the way he delivers it.

I'm not too sure about "the syndicate" but to each his own.

I can't see a problem with people want to make their lives better or even make it big (I thought that was a fairly universal desire actually). Money is useful in all sorts of ways and if spending on people who can make me feel good and give me useful mental technologies that have practical application in my life is a "waste" then I'd gladly waste it like that. Personally I think it's a "use" and a good one at that.

Agreed, if I can think of a better way to explain to people how to put a wordpress site together without the normal confusion, or explain how I personally make money on the stock market or in IM then I'll do it and I won't mind or have any qualms in taking a few bucks for it. If what I say helps them who cares if it's been said before? As long as I don't claim to have invented Wordpress or take credit for anything that's not mine than there is nothing wrong with it.

The same goes for Tony, Frank and the like. Just because they are re-explaining what they know to be true and worked for them in a way that helps me then what do I care that someone uttered similar words years ago? I don't.

....and this is because "action" = "effort" and "effort = "work" and there lies the problem.

Most people want the success and the money without the "work" part.

Why do you think all the "make $1,000,000,000 with just the push of a button" WSOs sell like they do while the ones that might actually give you a viable business plan but involve work usually don't?

The Secret would not have been the incredible success it was if part of that "Secret" had been that you have to work your ass off usually if you want to be an overnight success.

Look at the secret, that is rubbish sold with a great marketing campaign, hats of for that... but in the end it still is rubbish and gullible people are still buying it and going to the programs and seminars of con-artists like Bob Proctor and Joe Vitale... Many years ago(90s), when Tony Robins was selling his cassette tape series, I purchased them after watching his late night infomercial. I have to say that it did provide me with some sound ideas and advice. Basically it helped shape my mindset, as shortly after, my career as a stock broker took off. I became a top producer within my firm, and I went on to earn millions of dollars. Coincidence? Maybe, but I still found logic, and value it what Tony taught.

Fast forward a few years and I became somewhat disenchanted with Tony... I don't recall the exact details, but there was a period where Tony fell upon hard times in terms of his relationship with "the perfect women of his dreams and his IMMEDIATE family". Why didn't he just put into practice what he has been preaching? Or is it that it really doesn't work? Anyway Stuff happens, and I guess he has since recovered and seems to be back.

I have to "somewhat" agree here. In the above video Tony talks about guys visualizing "shooting hoops" and how well they did when it came down to actually doing it... Well, this is just a repackaging of his original example of a Vietnam POW who for years played golf in his mind and when he was finally freed, he shot a perfect golf game. This is just one of many examples of Tony rehashing the same stories, while attempting to make it sound like new information. I guess this is fine, unless you already purchased it, then it is old, and a waste of good money... However, if it works for the first time viewer, then it works, so be it.

I do get a sense that Tony is a sincere man, in as much that I feel that he really does want to help people.

I would recommend someone new to this game to buy Tony's stuff, over 99% of the junk that most internet marketers sell on how to make millions.

Let Tony get your Mind Set first, then you may be prepared to move forward in claiming your stake.

I want to clarify, in case there's any confusion, that I don't think less of Tony Robbins because his background is somewhat vague. His work is primarily in the area of self-image and when he ventures into areas such as sales, he partners with people who have credentials. Steps such as that actually add to his credibility in my mind.

The notion that this type of information is something that's marketed to gullible people is absolute rubbish.

Many people wrestle with issues concerning self-image and self-confidence for a great many years. Some struggle for their entire life without ever being able to understand or make use of the power they have within.

Most people are surrounded by negative thinking and negative people and that's a difficult force to overcome. It's virtually impossible to reach any type of goal if you believe you can not do it. That in itself doesn't make the inverse true. It still requires taking action. I've never read a book or listened to anyone akin to Robbins who has left that factor out.

There are people who will always choose to think of these tools as rubbish. There are people who are able to practice and make use of these principles without even being aware that they are doing it.

There are also people who can never seem to get out of their own way. For some of those who have struggled previously, because of Tony Robbins or Napolean Hill, or W. Clement Stone, or Zig Ziglar, or Wayne Dyer, or maybe even someone in the WF, something clicked because they finally heard something that made a difference.

Perhaps what they heard was said one hundred times by 100 different people, but this time it registered. For this reason, none of these speakers or authors can be dismissed or thought of as a waste of money.

Most of us are not fortunate enough to be surrounded by people who serve as positive role models. Most of us are surrounded by people who think no one can have a motive other than to extract money from us. This is one of the reasons that it's important to keep our minds open to positive messages, even if the message has been delivered thousands of times before.

I have never really paid Tony Robbins enough mind to develop an opinion of his effectiveness and/or of his products...and anything that is advertised via Late Night Infomercials is generally not my forte...

But I will say I do find the guy overwhelmingly annoying! lol

I think some people forget that the messages that Robbins, Hill, the Secret, etc are delivering are not new, but are in fact 1000s of years old. Yet there are many people who have still never learned these truths. So every few years someone new comes along and delivers the same message and is able to capitalize on it.

Kinda like what goes on hear. How many good WSOs are there on CPA Affiliating marketing etc. Different people teaching, basically, the same old thing in their own way. Just because it's been taught before, doesn't mean what they are teaching is bogus.
