Manning a Livechat

Does anyone have any advice in finding a service where someone mans a group of livechat features on several websites?

What are your experiences?

I just see this as such a huge feature into the future but short of hiring a person to sit there all day answering questions for $5/hr, I'm stuck. Just seems to be opportunity to collect leads fast but not so cheap to do.

    Have you tried zen desk? I believe they have that feature, I could be wrong.

      I dont see it on their site, rm. What is even weirder is they dont have a livechat function.

    I prefer Live Person. But if you're going to use LC it, you'll
    need to staff it accordingly.

    With many LCs, you can embed their code on your thank you pages,
    and track your conversions related to the LC.

    Summary: Figure out how you'll measure your LC conversions before going down this path.

    I do have researched on this before, you might want to google "engage to sell" they specialize on this kind of services.

    Well here is what I found out in general if anyone is also looking for this. The going rate is about $7 to $10 per chat session. Get I have some calculations to do.

    I can hire a VA for $2-5/hr but do not know the quality...that's about $24/12 hour day.
