Do you need to make a deposit first or put a card on file to use the $100 adwords vouchers?

    No rolltide you don't, just make sure you pick "Manual Pay" in your payment type and then put in your voucher number under "Promotional Code". This way you don't have to enter a credit credit number nor do you have to put down a deposit.

      Thanks for your info, I wondered the same thing, since everytime I tried to use code, I had to put in $5-20 first.

        Definitely use those $100 Adwords coupons one way or another. If the code is valid (not expired) people often sell these things on ebay and forums for like $25-$75.

        You have to enter billing information, but as long as you're smart and don't go over the credit amount you can pause your ads and never get charged. Just do like a $5 budget a day or something.

          I like image ads just for this purpose.
          Then your ads aren't competing with your places pages and organic results.

    yes, sometimes you will have to enter your billing info, but you don't need to pay first. Like Preeti said, make sure your payment method is manual.
