New facebook timeline?

OFFLINE MARKETING

So I have a client who is asking about setting up their facebook business page. I've noticed that facebook has changed to the new timeline look for business pages and to be honest I'm no expert on FB biz pages. I have a basic one set up for mine but it's nothing special, a few links to my blog posts, a few links to websites and videos I have created and that's about it.

Can you guys point me to some decent resources or give some advice on getting the most marketing bang for the buck out of facebook? How the new timeline has helped or hindered facebook marketing in your opinion?

I'm sure there are many ways, but not being an expert on it, I found this easy to use resource on here:

I am in no way affiliated with this except that I bought the first version and then upgraded my page to the timeline.

I have noticed that with the new changes and rules, most of all the pages now look alike and a lot of things that people who were just using fan pages to sell stuff are now history because of the new rules about what can be in the sover photo.

I have seen my fan page activity increase and I like it because it give your visitor more information at a glance without having to scroll down.

Make sure you post a good "about" and create several "catchy" cover photos so that you can change them out.
