Here's the 'typical' problem with phone calls: 'no script, too nervous, squeaky, scared, whatever.'. Those are not my problems. I've got a script, I'm itching to call and can't.

My problems: roommates, call times, and phone bills.

I can fix the phone bill by using the Google Talk. Then they can't hear me and I can't leave the room full of roommates.

I can fix the [I]roommates[I] issue by leaving the room, but that gets me in trouble with my phone bill and then I don't have my script 'cause the script is on the computer.

I can fix them both by calling when Roommates are away and I can use the computer... yeah, there's about a fifteen minute daylight window for that. I'm nocturnal. If I could magically call companies at four in the morning, that'd be great, obviously that doesn't work.

Aargh! I want to make phone calls and can't!

Off the cuff -- >> pre paid cell phone, a laptop, and go into the garage, back yard ...

If you really want to make calls and or grow your business, you
will eventually realize that entire post was just an excuse.

If you want it bad enough. You will find a way.

    --edit--

Background noise is not a bad thing. As long as they aren't screaming and cussing
it really shouldn't be a problem. Offices, have noise, and generally a lot of it.

People, especially businesses expect this, so they are not put off by it.
