You are selling to offline businesses.

On this forum there are many questions on how to cold call, how to send email, can I use commission salespeople, what emails to use, can I use an automated calling system, should I use direct mail and on and on.

As you are trying to decide, ask yourself this very important question:
"If my whole financial future depended on this decision, how would I do it?"

Would you use an automated calling system or call yourself?
Would you use bulk mail postage or a first class stamp?
Would you send an email or visit the business in person?
Would you depend on commission only salespeople?
And, on & on.

    Good advice, but all these options are viable at a certain level, but not usually for the people asking!

    Many people here are attracted to 'IM' because they are not naturally good at interaction.
    I would recommend anyone thinking about these options to actually get some 1st hand experience, preferably as a sales person with an established company. There are always comm only jobs available - treat it as (hopefully!) paid training.

    Its amazing what some basic training and being thrown in at the deep and can do.
