  OP it is not 1995 so why are you using a graffiti font on a supposedly hip hop website? Either use a real tag style and vector it or go with option 1.

Yeh the second one, although I'm very curious how all these marketers are grunging up their text like in the first one.

Is that a special brush or filter in photoshop? I was looking around the other day trying to create that grunge effect (in a subtle way) on some of my text and it would be cool if someone can tell me how to do it.

  Wow - poor OP just asked for an opinion and people start laying into him... that's really not on. I mean, you don't know what he needs the info for or who designed them. Just answer the question and if you want to comment on the quality do it in a nice way... no skin off your nose but just more classy you know?

Neither one of those seem to be a real logo, more like a header or banner with a specific stylized font and an image pasted next to it....

The first one is too hard to read, so I'd pick the second.

You could do much better though if you have a look around, or even look up some photoshop tutorials.

Both of them are really unprofessional. They aren't so much logos, more of a banner design with some effects on some text.

Def the second one.......its easy to read and a better layout. I'm no expert but that's my 2cents. Also remember the eye looks from top left to bottom right of most things.....so if there is something important you want on there like a website addy...put it bottom right the last place the eyes go!!!
