Starting to ramp it up

I am seeing ads on the internet for seo and people want to see examples of my work as well as a portfolio.

What do you do if you have no examples and use an outsourced company to do seo?

I am working my ass off to make serious loot and any ideas would be great.

Get some sites ranked...create some examples. There's no science to it. Just do it. Get 3 sites ranked on the first page and you're good.

Create a lead gen site for electricians, plumbers, etc in your city...rank it...then rent it out. You have an example and some income.

For SEO, I consider a "portfolio" to be sites you've helped rank, which for me would be very private, confidential information - in fact some clients have made me sign forms of confidentiality agreements, others simply ask me to not disclose their business name.

Explain that to your potential clients, if they have any common sense they should understand that that is reasonable.

Or use this approach and you won't need to show them a portfolio.
