New Found Passion

I've just recently discovered a new found passion of mine, which is designed flyers and ads. I don't have a background in design, but love tinkering around in photoshop and illustrator and coming up with ads that I would use if I were a business owner.

My question is, does anyone think this is a skill that can be used to
obtain new clients?
Possibly calling business owners and asking them if they'd like an ad or flyer designed.

    yes of course this can be made into a business! What your doing is actually a huge indsutry. You can for sure find clients and design flyers for their businesses.

    Most of all you could make some great cash creating banners for people that are advertising online!

    Thanks for the reply, I was actually wondering because I've seen sites like fivver that charge $5 for some pretty impressive ads. But I guess the average business owner isn't aware of sites like fivver

    Here's a great secret I've learned about business: You can sell nearly anything if it's marketed correctly to the right people. If you enjoy it, I'd advise you pursue it! I'd also suggest possibly JV'ing with different entrepreneurs around WF on top of seeking out your own clients yourself. It's much easier for an online service provider to pitch a smaller service to an existing client than it is to seek new ones altogether on your own.
