Can someone explain to me why when you check in and LIKE a business you are liking a check-in page that isn't associatesd with their FB page? So many times I know a business in my area has a fanpage or business page but when I check in using my iphone I'm forced to like this weird check-in page that has nothing to do with the real fan page or business page - seems like a problem no?

    I have seen that, too. I have also seen some of these auto generated pages rank higher in Google than their actual page. The business is supposed to claim their page with a phone verification. If they have another page that they have created, then they can combine the two (the title has to be the same).
    Maybe you can provide this as a service and help them claim and combine their pages.

    Well what if you create one for a business but when you check in at the business you get the plain old "check-in" page instead of the business or fan page ??
