Do you guys actually buy these "offline" WSO's?

I bought a few just to see if there was anything I could pick up here or there. Pretty laughable really, there's no way in hell half these people peddling this shit do this day to day.

What's interesting to me, is you try and ask the sellers about this and they drop and roll faster than pigs on shit. Half the people here talk about SEO like they're in the trenches, which is absolutely INSANE! (something I'm now trying to get away from a bit) Not once have I heard anyone talking about proper rank tracking for clients, not mention call tracking and integrating a client dashboard with monthly reports. (this is how you keep retention high)

One thing I don't know how to do well is cold call. I see the benefits to mastering the skill, but am scared like a little bitch and I don't need it bad enough. I've gotten referrals for a couple years and never had to prospect much. Now I think that's changing.. or at least I won't reach my new goals unless it does. (it seems like I'm degrading myself to drop to the "level of cold calling" which is a clear indicator of the problem by itself)

Nonetheless, I'm infatuated with prospecting methods which put me in the driver's seat. Cold walk ins work extremely well if you're polished, but I haven't done those in over two years. I also see the greater efficiency in calling instead of driving all over the city.

But all these threads and wso's on the matter seem pretty gimmicky at times. I don't really know where I'm going with this and am rambling now, it just seems weird that everyone goes with the flow of the latest greatest "systems."

In closing, the only WSO's I've purchased that are worthwhile, are tangible assets you can use and put into motion. The next time a "full time offliner's" system, method, whatever has you thinking **this is it** come back to reality...it's a pipe dream. The only thing that's going to change anything is you getting your ass into an actionable pattern ever single day.

I think I've mentioned this before, but this place is it's own ecosystem. What works here isn't necessarily going to do anything in the field. Selling picks to miners with no gloves, masks, or water is a recipe for disaster. The only thing left to do when that doesn't work, is buy something else. And the circle continues...

I can't be the only one that notices this??

No, you're not the only one. As I'm writing this, above me the headline to the forum reads: "I WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT TO SAY TO MAKE ANYONE BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU."

    Pretty much sums everything up.

On this forum, 95% of members are consumers. Out of that number, I'd be willing to say the majority of them are 'experts' or 'product sellers' as well. We're in a circle-jerk community, people buy to sell and sell to buy.

But amidst the garbage there's still people here looking for honest discussion. And there are still experts around here willing to give a helping hand without the 'buy my stuff' bullshit. You just have to find out who to talk and listen to, and screw the rest.

It's the one thing I have always found so interesting about IM and the making money niche in general. You'll have a guy who is a n00b one min and the next he is an expert.

A lot of people sell things into a market where they themselves are a consumer. Knowing your niche and selling to people like you is great but so many people focus on the making money niche it is funny.

One day maybe I will take the time to sell to people but honestly seems like too much work for too little money when any one of us could go out and see to a small local business and make way more with way less effort.

The gurus and constant wso promoters/sellers are generally making the majority of their income doing just that.... Selling wsos. Honestly those small scale wsos and ebook sales aren't going to be worth it because they're a time suck. I'd rather spend that time getting experience selling. That way I can always have a valuable skill.

A long term goal of mine is to teach people how to sell. I just can't find the time to figure out a way to not only teach my methods in a way that can be replicated, but doesn't give away the exact things I'm selling.

I crafted a very unique simple sale product that can be sold at any given time if I want.

And honestly... Most people that pay for these wsos still don't know that the only way they can figure anything out is by gaining experience.

Well, as far as cold calling goes...you are way off. It's not degrading or dropping yourself down (if it were I wouldn't be successful or still doing it after this many years). Simply put, some people aren't made for it. You can't make yourself like something.

So, you either need to learn to like it and do it right, or you need to outsource it to someone that knows what they are doing.

In my sig is both options. We have a WSO out today where we'll do it for you, and we have a WSO for consulting where we'll send you our book on how to do it and walk you through it.

To answer your question, I've bought a few other WSO's but I mainly make them

Hmm...let me do the math here....sell a $19.00 WSO to 100 people and make $1,900.00 one time. Or...lock down a $1,900 per month client for 12 months.....
First example seems like too much work.

i have to agree with the poster most people that seem to be selling the wso's are probaly not in the trenches doing it themselves. I get emails from people that use to contribute to this very offline forum, email me a new strategy they developed every other day and email me about their budddy's wso all the time....

i wish it was more about sharing and networking instead of trying to figure out the angle to sell more wso's..there are people on this forum who do give alot of advice and to them i am gratefull.

WSO sellers are insane creeps for the most part. Meaning that actually believe their own bullshit. Either that or they are just sociopaths who don't mind hyping up complete and utter garbage and grossly retarding newbie's progress in the process by selling them scraps from Dan Kennedy's table as the guaranteed path to riches, or other fifth hand gimmicks or tactics instead of professional systems. Not knowing the ruse when I started, buying that crap put me 180 in the opposite direction of success.

I don't despise them all as some are decent but just don't know the effect their stuff has. But most of them turn my stomach due to the lack of concern or depth they put into their products as they chase the money and the effect this has on innocent, hardworking newbies looking for a solid education.

But yeah, I wouldn't really even read most WSO's these days even if they were free.

They won't teach you how to be a professional. You'll have to learn that yourself by being careful and discerning about where you get your education.
