Been searching WF and don't get clear answers. What is the best practice to use to post in multiple cites? Is HMA the answer? Say I have 50 CL accounts, need advice in getting ads to stick!!! Thanks

The best way is to have a team of people who live across North America who are willing to post your ads into their local section of Craigslist for you. This way the IPs always match up, the cookies stored on the poster's computer are always right, and the account only ever posts into that one city.

It works because you are working within the CL system as opposed to trying to outsmart it.

I offer a Craigslist Posting service and this is how I run it. Ads always go live because you have a local posting your ad for you.

SMH... that has been debunked for 2 years ^^

The truth of the matter is that just because a WSO says you can spam affiliate links and CPA BS and make money doesn't mean that it is true. Your problem with having ads stick is usually the posting periods and content.

I can post anywhere in the US and canada, with an IP in the midwest...

Finally I get you to comment...I sent you a PM and you never replied. So spill it. How many ads do you post a day from 1 IP address?

I can do 50/day easily... if I want. A lot of things you hear, are myths. The content inside your ad when doing affiliate stuff and cpa, is usually what will ghost you. How fast you post... how many times your IP is showing in the same cron job will hurt you.. but that's it. Switching IPs isn't necessary unless you want to flag spam.

I stopped responding to PM's. I don't even check them. I empty them out once a month because it gets me to full capacity.

Well I am only posting 1 ad per account every 48 hrs, a couple accounts were ghosted right out of the gate. Maybe it was that content wasnt unique enough but I try and use image ads mixed with text ads.

Is it the link? Does the link have your cookie or referral string? You know... like affiliate tracking?

What about the image itself, is it being hosted on a free host? Is it on your host? What is in the text ad?

When you first activated your account, you should post one ad in the NEAREST city to you.. verify after 15 minutes that it shows up on the category page. IF it does not, post again, until it does. That is for the very first time posting on a new account. After that, wait 24 hours, and you should be able to post anywhere. That is a new account safety trigger... once that is released from your account, that won't be a reason for ghosting.

I am using craigslist ad tracker since it mixes up its links. And I do some where it just has link posted on the image.

Hello, I post text ads daily in craigslist jobs category for Los Angeles and New York (paid as). I've been using different vpns and been getting flagged right out the door. Is this becauseI'm posting paid ads for the first ad? Some vpns work for the first week and then they dont work anymore. Any tips?

Wow, I'm no CL expert but I would have thought if you actually gave them your money they would let the ad stay up - at least for a while - and not flag you right away. If nothing else, to keep your business and encourage you to buy more paid ads in the future.

Here, there are tons of resources on this. But here is 1 to get you started:

_-_- (<< click) You can scan down to the 2 sections:

How to create your CL ads and lead tracking tips

    then,

How often to post on CL

This resource does NOT have everything you will want to know, but it definitely has some useful stuff in it. I wasted a ton of time trying to get lots of ads sticking everyday, but then I just wound up finding a CL poster. Before you do that though, you need a proven system with tested copy. Otherwise there is no point scaling anything up. Get results on a small scale, then worry about scaling. If you can get those results, then there is no real point figuring things out on your own (as far as posting goes). And unfortunately that took me a long time to understand. Probably because I'm a control freak.

Does anyone know where this "link" is that RED is referring to?

I think it may have been removed. Would be a great resource for CL I'm sure!

I'm not interested in spamming. Though I am interested in posting multiple times with different offers in a single category. I tried posting different ads, different headlines, different copy. And Clist stopped me at three. Said I had reached my post limit.

And yet, I see this. How can they do this, when I can't post 4 different ads? What am I missing? (I attached the image - it's obviously an image of craigslist with the same ad repeated a bunch of times - the text inside is the same as well).

The text is certainly not the same. It also depends on the SECTION you're posting in.

They're probably able to do it by rotating the html code and renewing ads.

vonwrede, try copying an ad that's been up for a few days, change it only very slightly to match your requirements and then see if it's flagged. Usually the flaggers find the Ads they want to flag in the first few hours (even minutes) of it going live. One which has been up for a few days shouldn't be of interest to them.

By the way, it's probably your competition flagging the Ads, not CL (not sure if you may be aware of that)
