Do I have to do this?

I got a few clients outside the state that I am registered in. Does that mean I have to register the business in those states as well?

    My advice on this is to contact a tax professional and lawyer on this.

    I had a friend who got hit with state income taxes for two states because he didn't get good advice on the tax issues with this.

    That said..... If you are selling from your state and doing all the work in your state, Aka you are not doing anything in the other state minus the customer being that, then you likely have nothing to worry about with that other state.

    But pay someone a couple hundred bucks and get a real answer.
