I have not really thought about this one yet, but if it all works out for this project and it all turns out to be feasable and makes good money then will put more time into thinking how to prevent vandalism. Nevertheless, a simple solution for that is to stick with areas where cops hangout at more often. But of course yu wouldn't want to restrict your routs and operations according to that, it would be too silly!

The question for now is how much would companies pay for to get their ads appear on this (after we show them all the good routs we take), on a a big screen similar to the one shown in the video above??

The only downsides I can see to this are

1. Upfront cost. Like a billboard you have upfront costs that must come out of your pocket and be depreciated over time.

2. Issues with being able to park in good spots. Needing the owner's permission and etc.

Also check with a lawyer to make sure this is legal locally.

Otherwise it should work as long as you can charge enough to make a profit.

Yes, its a good idea to ask a lawyer before investing in this.

Do you know if companies would pay us as much they do on non-portable LED boards?

Rather people would buy this kind of advertising I just do not know. It depends so much on the city. In a small metro area like where I live there are so many billboards including LCD ones that I would not attempt to enter that market.

But your advantage is you can park it where they want.

Competitor having a sale? Park across the street with you ad. Our competitors buy bill boards near us for that reason.

Save your money talking to a lawyer. Just go down to the city offices and see what the ordinances are for something like this. I know they are illegal in the city where I live. However, I see mobile billboards around town anyway.

try using video projector marketing, using buildings and sidewalks as your screen. Much cheaper than an LED truck and can project large images plus video etc....even interactive stuff. This obviously pretty much applies to night time outside or light controlled areas in daytime inside.

Great idea on outdoor LED signs. Surely it will help company build their branding, but you have to check it locally if this is possible in your location.

I've seen LED advertising here in my country. It is inside a jeepney or public utility vehicle. I think it is effective and there are companies here who paid ads through it. Just don't know how much but one thing for sure, cheaper than others.
