Best Builder Theme/Plugin?

Have you used any? I'm looking at the Elegant Theme builder plugin, specifically. Really tired of buying themes from Themeforest, only to find they lack user documentation or don't work out of the box like the demo.

    I've had the same problem. I have the elegant themes plug in, but I still had to go into the code to edit headers and such. It still didn't give the event control I wanted, and it may have changed by now, but it wasn't responsive when I looked at it.

    I'm currently using headway but I'm not in love with it. I have to build everything from scratch, and that takes a while, but I do have all the control I wanted. they're just starting to roll out "skins", which may help with this problem. Another one I looked at was ithemes builder, but I haven't used it.

    I bought the Elegant Builder, but so far I'm less than thrilled with it and the tech support are all Romanian college students, it seems.

    Thanks for the tip on Headway. It's next on my list to try.
