Need help with business card

Hi everyone,

I have a client who is trying to use vista print to print both postcards and business cards. When they load their logo image for the postcard everything works fine. However when they try to create the business card with a smaller sized image of the logo vista print keeps giving error that the image quality / resolution is not good enough to use. I have tried manipulating the image using GIMP but vista print still won't take it.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!!

vistaprint sucks. their marketing is very very good but the print quality and pricing is not good at all.

Check the gimp file's resolution to make sure it's 300dpi. If it's 300dpi and vistaprint isn't taking it, I don't know any solution.

Vista print is fine if you know what you're doing. You usually need a few different sizes of any pic you are using to get the correct quality. Which is why it's telling you that. Ask whoever created your pic (or logo) to send you 2-4 of the same image in different sizes and that should help.

You didn't adjust your resolution on the image instead of resizing the image did you?
What are you using for graphics?

The only reason anyone should really use vistaprint is if they don't want to have a design done for them and rather would use their pre-made templates.

Their ink sucks, it's muddy as hell, their business cards are smaller than a standard size, the paper stock is thin, and their prices are higher than what you'd find for better quality elsewhere.

Printplace.com, gotprint.com, uprinting.com all have better pricing, paper stock, coatings, and quality than vistaprint.
