Leads and Is This Reasonable?

Hello Warriors!

I'm on a quest. A quest that labels me as an IMer that needs to make ~$10,000 by early January. Is that reasonable?

I have the whole process of selling websites set up and ready to go. I have one client, but that doesn't mean much. I know what I'm doing when it comes to making the websites and selling them and how much I should sell them for.

But what I am stumbled on is this: I'm in college and I'm new to this town. I don't know a single thing about the businesses like I did in my home town. The town has over 50,000 so it's a relatively larger town.

Where do I begin to get leads? How do I go about starting to get leads so I can achieve my goal $10,000 goal?

I'm sure you don't have all the answers but I'm asking for suggestions or how you go about leads for a new city.

    Take a look at yelp (for cold calling) or do cold-walks around a busy part of town. The hardest piece of the whole puzzle is to have the balls to actually go out there and take action, whether it's via phone or in person.

      Go To Fiverr.com and Have Somebody create Flyers with killer copy and Distribute near businesses that may be interested in your products/services.

    $10k in 3/4 months?

    Not unreasonable at all. Even if you are saying after taxes.

    Professional web services normally charge over $100/hr even figure you need $20k and only can bill 1/3rd of hours (aka you need 2 hours of prospecting for ever hour of work) you would only need to work 40 to 50 hrs per week (aka a full time job) to pull it off.

    As for how to get prospects you need to use whatever method you are best at. but given the size of the town I would personally cold walk as the conversion percentage will be highest.

    Depending on what you charge for you starter package you can decide how many you need to sell per day/week.
