Time management is very important in business. Who here has a daily schedule that they follow? What does it look like?

I think it would be interesting to see how some of you budget your working hours.

I have been having problems with time management and am working to get a good schedule in place.

I have been using google calendar, hooked up to my phone, for a long time. I'd be lost without it.

I don't really have a fixed schedule, but I do have work topics booked. And a Timetrade account for call-in prospect appointments, which I only accept on two days of the week, and delivery of coaching purchases (also only on a few chosen days).

Wednesdays I take as my day off, since many people want to do their coaching on weekends.

To make sure things get done, you must BOOK TIME for them in your calendar. Otherwise they keep getting bumped for more urgent, but less important, tasks.

Buy a proper day to a page desk diary.

Make yourself use the diary for a month until it becomes a habit.

Fill in what you do each day. You will start to see glaring white gaps.

Eventually you will start re-jigging some of what you do and filling in some of the gaps.

After a few months you will see how your productivity has naturally changed because you can quite easily see what you did on certain days and how stark it all looked when you first started with a diary.

Productivity is everything! When I first got started on building websites and doing all kinds of things, I would browse the web for hours on end doing nothing except reading salespages and wondering what to buy next. I would think about what money I was going to make without doing anything. The truth is that you can't just sit on this forum and read, read, and read all day long and expect to succeed.

You need to make a plan. I do have a good plan, and while I won't share it right here, I will say that it all about flexibility and doing different schedules before you find the right one. It also depends on the day you are having. If it is a Saturday, things may be a bit more flexible as opposed to the day being Tuesday.
