Script for cold calling in reputation management?

Hi all,

Out of curiosity, are there any scripts out there that one could use when calling customers to do reputation management? In order to get past the gatekeepers, I heard that one line was : "Can I speak to someone about the negative reviews your company has on the internet?" - or something like that ...

Are there others?

    I think starting off with something like "Can I speak to someone about the negative reviews your company has on the internet?" would definitely get their attention. Business know how negative reviews effect their company, so they'll listen to what you have to say. I just moved a few weeks ago, and while looking for a moving company, then one company that was the most affordable, had quite a few negative reviews. We actually brought the negative reviews up to the sales person, and she explained what happened with those particular customers. After further investigation, we withdrew our interest in the company. As soon as we did, the sales person said "You're not hurting my feelings, we're gonna make money regardless." I realized why they had such a bad reputation.

    I'm sure no one wants to lose out on money, so bringing up the negatives first, then offering them a solution, should help you close some deals.
