Google Plus Local Training or Service?

Two questions

1, What up-to-date Google Plus Local Training course would you recommend? (I have a few WSO's that are now a couple of years old or more)

2. What Google Plus Local Service would you recommend if I decide to outsource it instead?

Thanks

I'll be trying this out soon. Its from the owners of GlowingReviews who got sued by Edmunds but they seem to be back at it again. I loved their previous service so I'll definitely be testing their bot out:

    Local Business Listing Robot

BTW, I don't work with clients as I own all my own local sites. So I'm allowed to take risks. But I would NOT test that bot on any of your clients sites (obviously).

Then there is this place for citations: Pricing & Plans

I use to use a fiver guy for citations (who does an awesome job) but the above service is what I use now. If you need anything less than 46 citations I'd use fiver (theres a guy who will do it manually for $10) but if you need A LOT then use the above service.

Then I read Lindas site a lot. She's a local marketing pro. Unfortunately I seem to have deleted her bookmark and can't even remember the name of her site. But I'm sure someone else knows it.

    Good luck - RS

In my opinion you can't learn anything from such trainings/courses instead read blogs related to Local SEO from internet you will get enough information about it. Also you can check with:

    http://searchengineland.com/
    http://searchenginewatch.com/

Both of these provides new updates related to SEM. You will definitely get benefitted by this.

There are many local SEO providers in the market; I am providing you with the list of some of them you can check here:

    Stone Temple Consulting
    SearchRank
    ISHIR
    Spyder Trap
    Solas Web Design
    Nifty Marketing

    Hope this will help you.

The first two sites you mentioned you have to take what you read with a huge grain of salt. Most of the authors there are guest's and post stuff that is self promotional. I've been reading the content on both sites for several years and authors contradict what they teach/write about all the time.

Are you asking me??? No way.

We don't use fiverr or outsource overseas or use any automated methods. Everything is done manually by the in-house team.

But our optimization service is more than just citations. We also do on-site SEO on a monthly basis to continue to improve the site and content, because just throwing a bunch of citations at a poorly optimized site does not help much.

AND throwing new citations on top of a scrambled mess of bad citations does not help much either. So we also do citation clean up and de-duping if needed 1st so we can then try to build on a solid foundation.

The Place page, the site and the citations all have to jive AND problems like duplicates (which kill rankings) need to be addressed. So we work on all 3 every month and more.

          • Thanks James! Feel like I know you, I've seen so many or your posts! (I'm near SD too.)

Did you get my emails? I'm having email problems and so sent a 2nd one from a different account to get confirmation that my 1st one got through.

But anyway... I was just thinking...

Knowing everything I know today about how complicated Google+ Local is and how when you hit all the problems that so often come up, it can be a complete time suck... I think if I were starting from scratch I would totally outsource and just sell. The selling part is easy because there is so much demand, but delivering the service can be grueling due to all the problems.

      • Thanks, I replied with the training info right away.

Then got totally slammed helping everyone at my forum and the Google forum with a bunch of new Google+ Local updates and issues that just hit. So I'm sorry about the delay on the 2nd email.

Just replied with the white label info and again sorry it took me a few hours to get back to you with that second email.

        • Cudefish and 9999, could you reply back via email to let me know if you got my email? I'm going crazy trying to narrow down this email delivery problem so just wanted confirmation. Would hate for you to think I just flaked and never replied.

If you didn't get my mail please check spam folder OR in Gmail check "all mail".
Not a spammer. Don't even have a list. And def am not phishing, which is the warning on my emails.

          Ready to find a bridge.

          • Thanks to everyone that PMed and emailed and emailed and put up with all my email problems. Thanks for all your patience in trying to get the info.

gMail managers could not figure it out and 20 Time Warner techs could not either. So I finally had to set up a proxy server, just to be able to get my emails through to folks.

So the issue is finally resolved and sorry for any inconvenience.

Thats the hard thing about Google+ Local training! Google is changing so fast that unless the trainer is staying on top of it, the course gets outdated fast. I have to continuously post updates to my training.

In fact there was just another big update yesterday that I just helped Google do the PR for.
So I need to add that update to my training today.

Did you guys see it? About how to move your G+ Local page to a brand page if you were one of the many that created a G+ Brand page and have all your social on that page so everything is split up?

In case you missed it, here is the info. It's really confusing everyone so I just added an illustration to help clarify.
Here is the G+ post where I broke the news: https://plus.google.com/u/0/10103750...ts/VSRbgD3VBQy
