Marketing For Private School?

Hi Everyone!

I've been checking out Warrior Forum for several months now and have just now joined!

I recently took on a volunteer job of marketing a Private Christian school as a way to build my portfolio and get experience in offline marketing. The school is great, but only has 7 kids and isn't well known in the community. Those who do know of the school remember a somewhat negative reputation from many years ago.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to build a positive brand for a school and then proceed to market it? The school doesn't have a lot of money to put into marketing. Any suggestions on how to pursue this?

Thanks Everyone!

    Hi Kelsey,

Good luck with the project. I would imagine from the sales side you are going to have to get facts and figures together ie exam passes, grades etc so you can appeal to the central route processing of your customer.

Next turn your weakness into a strength small classes, close up tution sell on the big school classes and godless education that takes place elsewhere. Get your sales side ready then network like crazt in the local churches regardless of denomination. If you have an affluent part of your town or city start there sell the, the dream of a christian education.

Most churches have church magazines you could contibute to write articles on 'bring me the little cchildren'. Also posters and flyers in christian book stores.

What local media christian media is there.

From a cold marketing point find out how many students the school wants, subtract how many you have and you have instant scarcity.

Hope this helps, drop me a pm i'll gladly help where i can.
