Radio Advertising Guides?

My agency got hired by a company that wants to mix it's Internet advertising with some radio advertising. Since we take care of all of their marketing efforts, I wanted to make sure they will get a good advertising.

I was hoping if you guys can point me to some top quality guides on how to make radio advertising the correct way.

The price of the guides doesn't matter, we need top notch content, and also to include this as an additional service.

    When I started doing radio advertising for myself. I was out looking for the same thing. And to be honest I never found it. Its like the entire market is run by the guiding hand of the radio stations, and high end agencies.

    So I had to do something... I had to learn something somehow. So I looked up top rated radio ads and started listening. Top rated ads, vs what you hear on your local station ( well mine anyways ) are OH way so different.

    I will tell you WITHOUT QUESTION spend the money and source it out. I finally went with Commercial Radio Ads Audio Production | Push Button Productions I got the quality I wanted, and my ad without questions stands out compared to the locally produced ones. ( and that is a good thing )

    The messaging and feel is just something that has to be tested. I went through 6 different runs before I got one that really hit the sweet spot.

    Check out Dan O'day. He's probably one of the biggest experts (that I know of) out there.
