One simple question, if you are already advertising on Bing Ads and have the "Microsoft and Yahoo owner properties" target enabled (or something like that) - is there any reason so sign-up for a Yahoo Gemini account?

    Hi consultant1027,

Years ago Yahoo made a deal with Microsoft to provide search results for Yahoo Search and that deal gave Bing the rights to serve all ads for desktop computers on Yahoo Search. Yahoo Gemini was created to serve ads for mobile devices, and native ads, which was not part of the original deal with Microsoft.

Recently, Yahoo renegotiated their deal to allow up to 49% of desktop ads to be served by an ad platform of their choosing. So now it is possible that some ads for desktop devices on Yahoo Search might be served by Yahoo Gemini, or other ad platforms, perhaps even AdWords at some point in the future.

If your intent is to have your ads reach mobile device users on Yahoo Search then you do indeed need a Yahoo Advertising account. If you want to have full reach on Yahoo Search, as well as Yahoo Native ads, then again yes, you need to have a Yahoo Advertising account.
