Hi,

I test google adwords (not have run campaign only the adword dashboard).

So for my service the cpc are most high from (Euro) 2,00-14,00€ ....it is crazy sill.

Put out some longtail keywords like: xxx service frankfurt (city).
But the traffic estimate tool shows only 0,3 clicks/ day for this longtail keyword but an high ctr of 3,3%.

That is curious for me, have an target longtail keyword with zero clicks but high ctr?

Can anyone explain me that?

I have problem to find (region) target longtail keywords with fair price around 0,50-1,00€.

Do I something wrong there?

    Hi marco005,

If I understood your post, it seemed like you are looking at CPC estimates, not actual costs from your own campaigns, right.

Those prices are just estimates based on averages for the terms. Your actual costs could be a lot different from the estimates. The CPC will go way up, or way down, depending on your Quality Score.

The good news is that you can bid for what Maximum CPC you are willing to pay and AdWords will only show your ad when you can win that action for the max CPC bid, or lower.

Bare in mind that AdWords doesn't set the final price you pay, it is based on what your competitors are willing to pay for that same ad slot that determines what you must pay to win the placement in the ad auction. So if it does indeed cost a lot to win an ad auction it means that your competitors are willing to pay that and is likely worth that amount to them. You might need to negotiate a better product price from your suppliers, improve your AOV, or increase your conversion rates to make it viable compete in the ad auctions.

    HTH,

    Don Burk
