Try to avoid 301 redirects if possible. I know it's not always easy, especially if it's a link on another site that you can't control. If you do use 301 redirects make sure you don't create redirect...

You will be OK with your Original Domain. I think redirection is not a good practice if you have another option. You should stay on your original domain.
