Really? I did not think it was relevant. The important factors are your page content, backlinks and authority. A site is ranked on those basis and many more.

If it's the name of your product or business don't do it. Everyone presumes it will be .com.

These are tough to do well with. Only because unless you are linking specifically online, any offline traffic will automatically think dot com. Not good for search traffic. Or branding either.

The suffix doesn't matter unless you're targeting a specific country and even then I think it's negligible.

A hacked website MUST be cleaned. Its also bad for seo.

And maybe there are backdoors in the files somewhere ...

Yep. Get rid of that line for a start. This makes any traffic coming from one of those referers redirect to that Russian website.
