How to remove certain category in wordpress from a blog page

Hello expert

I am using a news plugin where it automatically grab news from several website and insert them into my website (in "news" category that i setup).

But the issue is, all the news that go into "news" category will automatically go to "Blog" page by default. I don't want the news to go to "blog" page.

If any of experts here know how do i remove "News" category from automatically inserted into "blog" page?

    it is very simple. you should exclude news category from blog page. At blogpage, it shows data from all categories. You have to alter the query to exclude news category. You are using a plugin and i don't know is there any option to achieve this. First your blogpost showing on a frontpage or it has their own standalone page.

      But not sure which of the code do i need to edit? I need to change the "cat=-3" to my category number?
      The blog has its own standalone page..

      But how do i edit query.php in dashboard? I cant see the query.php file in Appearance> Editor.

      Got another issue here. Skype issue. I haven't logged in skype for long. But now has an issue to login to skype chat. But when i go to the website (skype.com), i can login successfully.
