Old RSS feed Conflicting with new WordPress feed (???)

Years ago I first built my site using FrontPage2002 and created a custom RSS feed using a software called FeedForAll. The feed was configured and successfully launched and here it is now:

http://danscartoons.com/cartoons-for...-and-print.xml

A couple of years ago, I re-built and relaunched my site using WordPress and now my feed is:

CARTOONS | CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS

Question: What to do? Do these rss feeds conflict with one another and the XML feed no longer shows any link or images.

Does the file still exist in the root directory?

Yes the root directory of the new site. Is the XML RSS feed file physically there?

I went into Filezilla and opened the REMOTE SITE and looked in various folders but see nothing. Let me ask further if there is an actual folder I need to navigate to, after I click a specific icon and then look further by clicking that small + sign? In essence, what would an XML rss feed be in? Or an actual file name? Or? Thank you

In cPanel sites, the root directory is usually public_html.

The file you are looking for is the one in the link you posted.

yes, file name to look for I am aware of....however, when I log onto the site using Filezilla, I see no folder identified as "public_html"....however, this is a Wordpress based site, so no html I assume. Not sure what other folder there would be....

You start in the root directory. So just click where it says danscartoons.com.
Then look at the files in the list below the directories.
    Look for your xml files.
If they're not there, you need to recreate them.
Or even better, add a redirect in the htaccess file for the xml rss feeds to point to the wp feed instead.

Phenomenal.....really appreciate this...I'll go back into Filezilla and look. Also, I do use a plugin called Jetpack which does enable me to tweak files in the .htaccess folder

please see attached...could the RSS reside in this? I believe in Filezilla, I can right-click and copy the contents in that? Onto notepad perhaps, so I can look at it? What are your thoughts?

No. That's one of the files used by wordpress.
The files you are looking for will have the same exact name of the old feed files.
The one you gave in your example would be:
    cartoons-for-electronic-and-print.xml
So you are looking for something with that name.
