Development approach for a dictionary website

Hello there! I wanted to get your opinion on a web site I want to create. It going to be a dictionary website kind of like Urban Dictionary where users submit the terms/definition. What do you think would be the best approach?
  • Wordpress with a bunch of plugins to get functions I need (though I don't know if there are plugins for all of these functions)
  • Some other CMS (Droopal, Joomla, etc) customize with the functions I need
  • Fully bespoke development

The features of the website will be
  • Users sign up via facebook, google, or linkedin. This enables users to post terms and definitions.
  • Each term gets its own page, and if multiple users enter the same term with different definition, they are all shown on the same page.
  • Users can tag each term with the category that the term is related to (e.g. tech, advertising, pharma, etc)
  • The user's name is attached to the term/definition’s they’ve submitted (via their google, facebook, or linkedin profile)
  • Browsers of the website can search for terms or view them alphabetically
  • Users can like or dislike a term’s definition, and the ones with the best rating rise to the top of it's individual page

Please let me know what you think is best approach. I have front end experience, but very little back end. If I can do it on my own, great, but maybe I need to hire a developer for the job.

I would do something like that using a framework such as Laravel. It would be much faster, focused and maintainable.

Development time probably wouldn't be very much longer than doing it in wordpress after you take into account all the time trying to find the right plugins and hack them together.
