I want to be an oracle engineer .

    First of all being an engineer is not about knowing some programming language. It is a way of life. You can not become an engineer. It is a feeling that you can not describe. Either you are or you are not. Required things to do engineering.
    Working habit - if you dont have this
    Ability to study 14 hours non stop.
    If you dont have this as well - go to art school.
    Second you are a problem solver. You dont ask how to do something you just do it!!
    Also you need a few years of math and physics problems to become one.

      Also, engineers tend to focus just on the stated parameters, rather than stepping back and considering the larger picture.
