Can you provide me with any references, or personal suggestions on how to compare different content for their unique ratio in comparison to the original whether it be a php, java, or any common online programming language?

I know about dupecop, and would also use it for comparing my content. But i am creating an online article script, and would like to add a comparison/unique ration feature onto it. This will save time and money in checking content for customers, as well as myself. I notice on the site dupe cop has an online duplicate content checker. It is probably something they just developed. I just need an idea or reference, or an imitation of a script (allows me to cross-compare versions of an article for uniqueness in percentage terms compared to all the other articles) that can do that. If anyone can help me, I'll provide to you a free lifetime access to my new content script coming soon!

Probably by checking number of words, number of sentences, comparing if sentence match, checking how many words match (ignoring words like: and, the,...) and so on.. There's really no other way.. No two scripts will ever gave you the same result in this unless they use the same algorithm..
