I need help with an encoded link.
Recently I bought a course that was expensive. Some of the material of the course is hosted online and the owner of the course said that somewhere in the following months he will be discontinuing the course and shooting down the site.
So I wanted to download all the videos to keep them because the material is very very good and I don't think it's fair that part of the content that I've paid is taken down . But for some reason this guy has encoded the links of the video files in such a way that it has been impossible for me to download the videos.
I used Chrome's developer's tool to inspect the code for the video and it is this:
| <param name="flashvars" value="netstreambasepath=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.protrade rsclub.com%2Fmember%2Fajcourse%2F1_1.html&id=p 256951&aboutlink=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezs3.com%2Fa bout&skin=http%3A%2F%2Fezs3.s3.amazonaws.com%2 Fplayer%2Fskins%2FStijl.swf&mute=false&fro ntcolor=ffffff&streamer=rtmp%3A%2F%2Fs2s0upnhi amxqm.cloudfront.net%2Fcfx%2Fst&screencolor=00 0000&stretching=uniform&lightcolor=000099& amp;repeat=none&file=abpo945cvwmlto8672chpwrt8 %2F1_1_Analysts%20Reports.m4v&provider=rtmp&am p;autostart=false&abouttext=eZs3&backcolor =000000&controlbar.position=bottom&display .icons=true&dock=false"> |
| <param name="flashvars" value="netstreambasepath=http://www.protradersclub.com/member/ajcourse/1_1.html&id=p256951&aboutlink=http://www.ezs3.com/about&skin=http://ezs3.s3.amazonaws.com/player/skins/Stijl.swf&mute=false&frontcolor=ffffff& ;streamer=rtmp://s2s0upnhiamxqm.cloudfront.net/cfx/st&screencolor=000000&stretching=uniform&a mp;lightcolor=000099&repeat=none&file=abpo 945cvwmlto8672chpwrt8/1_1_Analysts Reports.m4v&provider=rtmp&autostart=false& amp;abouttext=eZs3&backcolor=000000&contro lbar.position=bottom&display.icons=true&do ck=false"> |
But that link doesn't start with http but with rtmp. Researching again, I found that it is a streaming link and that I could play it with VLC player. But for some reason the link doesn't work.
So I don't know If I'm doing something wrong, or if the problem is the link or if the problem is the player. In the site, the video plays fine and there is no way to download the video with any chrome extension or Firefox addon.
If any of you have any Idea how to do this, or know any other way to download videos encoded like this I would be very thankful.
Kind regards.
Marcos
