HTML for banner with "Advertisement" tag?

Hi,
Can anyone help with some HTML code.
I'm trying to get the banner on my website with the "Advertisement" text at the right bottom of the banner but with no space at all between the 2.

The Banner is spaced in "align=center" in the wordpress column so adding an extra text block and aligning it to the right takes it far past the banner length. The banner is the following.

<a href="http://fakebannerad.com" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.fakelink.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/fake-banner-728x90.gif" alt="fake banner" /></a>

Could someone please help with what the COMPLETE HTML would look like to have the text against the ad with no spaces like the example at the top of this site Men's Fitness

Or like most sites with ads on them...

Thank you in advance.

Have you tried adding the attribute "background-size: cover;"?
