Which is the best alternative of xampp?

xampp is not working in my laptop.
Computer says that a 'dll' file is missing. So I have problem to do work with php .
Please suggest me the alternative of xampp Server.
Is wamp server Good?

    the best alternative is to clear space on your hard drive and dual boot with linux. Its totally free to use something like lubuntu or xubuntu.

    Sorry but your programming knowledge will not be up to par until you can setup a server and you will find if you deal with other techs like node, ruby python etc that its more streamlined to develop on linux.

    I use to develop non MS stacks on windows but always ran into issues.

    P.S. If your php development includes laravel - laragon is pretty sweet on windows or linux and installs php, mysql etc for general php development as well

    That depends on what you're exactly looking for. If your main goal is PHP development I'd not look for an alternative, just accompany that with PHPStorm.

    If you want to do web development , you don't relay need XAMPP and instead you can pick single components of your liking, there are other webservers aside of Apache, but you also might simply use a Linux for your development and all the components are already there.

    The LAMP stack was a term before XAMPP came along and is still the original.

    XAMPP itself is the best when it comes to easy set up. But i would take xampp as an alternative to laragon. Laragon was made to make development environment easy, especially for laravel (which is always awesome).
