Looking for an "automated page-publishing" script

I've seen this "carbon-copy" script in action, but don't know where to find it...

Here's the scenario:

This business offers your own website, and after payment & filling out some info (like paypal email, or affiliate id)- you get an email with the page url (your "website") to promote.

This script apparently takes that information, inserts it into a template, and publishes a web page within a specified folder... then sends an email notification to the subscriber.

What is it called, and where do I find it?

Any help with this is greatly appreciated!

    Hi

If I understand your question, then what you want to achieve is something that very simple.

Once the notification come through from your payment processor (say Paypal) that the customer has paid, then the following steps are done :

    1. A sub-directory is then made on the server (easily done using PHP)
    2. The webpage is copied into the new folder (plus any accessory images, styles sheets etc)
    3. An email is then sent to the customer with the URL od the new webpage.

Of course, you could expand it a little bit and if the person asked for a refund or periodic payment was declined, or account terminated, then the same script could easily delete the webpage from the server.

I don't know of any commercial scripts that will do this, but it would be very simple for someone to put together for you.

I would suggest using RentACoder.com and would pay about $100 to get this sort of script written (maybe even less)

    I hope this helps

        Thats a good point!

Is the Original poster just looking for a page that includes their affiliate code, or are they looking for a page that is stored in a seperate directory.

I guess there are 2 ways to read the original question

My apologies for the untimely reply- had my hands full with other projects.

I was looking for a script that would "spit out" an affiliate page for use on their own domain... sort of a "fill-in-the-blank" page. This could go in several directions, as it's tailored to each offer.

I could code one out myself, if I had the time on my hands- but look how long it took me just to get back here, lol. I'm just looking for something that's ready-to-go, with maybe minor tweaking. Don't see the point in reinventing the wheel- I know it's been done already.

The idea is for them to fill in their information- affiliate ID, autoresponder code, name, etc.- and be able to get a custom page. Kinda like a rebrandable ebook, but without the desktop application.

I've tried the template approach, where they customize it themselves- guided by video instruction...

Ha! Talk about a flooded inbox! It was crazy. It amazes me how few can handle simple search, select, & cut-and-paste.

Before I try something like that again, I want to make it as "brain-dead-simple" as possible. That's all.
