What's going on with my Wordpress?

I have 4 domains with WP installed on all 4 (different themes)
I start to edit a theme and within minutes I get a "Secure Connection Failed"
After that I can't access WP, cPanel, Thunderbird or FTP on any of the 4 sites
No matter what browser I use.

The only way I can regain access to my sites again is to use a VPN or reset my modem.
All my SSL certificates are valid, I have the Really Simple SSL plugin working.
I'm on a shared server using Firefox and I can't figure out for the life of me what's going on

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Found the culprit on my own...


    If any of you out there are using the Wordpress Firewall 2 Plugin and experiencing Secure Connection and/or Connection Timed Out error messages when you are trying to edit wordpress pages/posts, you may have to deactivate the plugin or delete it all together.

      Go the Plugin Section, Find the plugin you want to deactivate and there should be a LINK next to the plugin that says DEACTIVATE, just click the link and it will deactivate.

    Usually, some error its caused by plugin installed is not compatible. To try and fixed your issue, maybe deactivated one by one plugin. After that, you can know more, which plugin its cause your error.

      That's a good idea...
      I actually uninstalled everything and activated each plugin one at a time and I discovered the "Really Simple SSL" plugin was also causing connection problems.


      Some people can use certain plugins with no problem, but some plugins conflict with others and the way your web hosting server is setup can also cause issues.
