Wordpress plugin for forum

I've looked at two addons for my Wordpress Wishlist membership site. One is Simplepress and the other is BBpress.org.

I would appreciate recommendations for adding a forum to a membership site to be used for members only.

    We're looking into the same thing right now. I just came across this (Future of bbPress bbPress Support Forums), where Matt Mullenweg, the creator of WordPress and bbpress says "Strategically the most important thing we need to figure out is how to integrate bbPress better with WP more for people who want that -- right now it's easier to use one of the WP plugins for forums than bbPress."
