Ebay Website Scripts and/or plugins

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend any good php scripts for making an ebay website?

I'd quite like the website to function like ebay (i.e. an auction site that has similar features and uses paypal). I found one or two plugins (for wordpress) that looked sort of like what I was looking for, but I have no idea if they are any good.

Right now I am looking to get some costs in my head for running this project.

I'd be really grateful for any input. Found lots of tutorials for making these scripts on google, but nothing caught my eye as a ready-made solution.

Can anyone help this programming noob?

    Did you check out Auctions/E-Bay Software for webmasters - a couple of ebay auction scripts there but I can't vouch for them as have never used them.

    PHPBay Pro is another Wordpress plugin which adds auctions to your site, you could just grab the Wp Commerce Steel theme and then bolt the PHP Bay plugin into it - relatively cheap solution.

    Hope that gives you some ideas.

    I use 2 different scripts on some of my sites.. The first is easy to setup and use but not as seo friendly as the second..

    On 6/7 of my sites I use software called BANS... (build niche store php scripts).. they are very easy to install and configure but you need to make header and footer changes to changes the BANS type signatures of them.. For ranking though I had to create a /blog folder and install wordpress in there to rank them effectively..

    The other script is a wordpress plugin and much much easy to configure / update and install.. but not as user friendly when it comes to auto cats and auto generates pagers. That called phpbay pro.. there is a free lite version of this which is worth testing before buying the pro version..
