It doesn't really matter what you use, as long as you know how to SEO it properly.

Like said above. Just make sure that Clean URLs is enabled, and that you use Path Auto and Page Title to use appropriate SEO standards for page titles and URLs.

    Google likes blogger and wordpress.

But it doesnt mean Google doesnt like joomla or drupal. It matter of getting indexed. ANd i think google delays indexing drupal pages.

Drupal is lightweight. Hence by default it is fast CMS. Hence Google like it.

Google like everything Also in your drupal installation if there are any hard to find links or if your url is very long or has something special in it.. Just create a google webmaster account and submit a sitemap. This will help google in finding all your pages.

Google doesn't care what you're using to build your websites. The only reason that some websites using a particular tech (like Wordpress) rank better is because that technology already follows the principles that Google wants to see for a good site.

That doesn't mean you can't make a site with a different technology rank as highly. It just means you may have to tweak things for better SEO. Once you do that, Google doesn't care about the technology.

Drupal, or any other CMS, Blog engine, customer software is good to use as long as you have done some minor SEO work.
        • search engine friendly urls
        • good content, fresh content daily, or weekly
        • proper use of tags <h1>, <h2>, etc..
          • XHTML 1.0 Strict Standards are best I've found
        • CSS based templates
          • preferred because they are easier for search engines to parse through.
        • Sitemap
If you have those basic things, Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.. will like your website period no matter what its running as.

The only reason why WordPress is perceived as the best is because of all the Hype and all the plugins which make it the great system it is today.

Doesn't matter if you use Drupal. Google only ranks WP.com and blogger sites because they have 'trust', i.e., age, backlinks, traffic, fame, and some hard coding on Google's algorithm.

In other words, you could put out a WP clone tomorrow using WP code and it Google wouldn't suddenly start ranking it like WordPress.

Wordpres, drupa or joomla if you take it for SEO optimization. Any CMS will do. Google is not Biased to any of the CMS.

SEO is not dependent on the platform you use, its rather dependent on how you structure your website, the density of the keywords used on the site, etc and backlinks play a very important role.

Its not that google likes wordpress, you can have a wordpress site with bad SEO never getting onto google indexing.

With bad SEO Its also possible that google will spider your website but may not index anything as the google bot will think there is nothing worth while on the website.

So if you want google to give you a good ranking you need to work on SEO doesnt matter what CMS you use.

      In my own experience

Out of the box (no plugins/modules) I get better SEO results with WP than Drupal.

After adding the appropraite SEO modules I believe I get better SEO control with Drupal.

It is hard to tell as I have never created clones side by side.

Also using Drupals multisite functionality and a few simple Drush/Bash scripts I can have a new Drupal campaign site up and running and customised in 10 minutes.
