No Idea What to Put Here, Please Just Read

Ok, I couldn't decide on how to word the subject line to ask this so I hope some of you clever folks can help out.

I have my site listed in Google's Webmaster tools and it shows the right keywords that the site is about.
However, I just did a search using the Adwords keyword tool and putting in the url of my site and not one of my keywords came back in the results. Not only that, but most of what Google reckons is relevant is not in any way related to the site.

It's showing keywords that are not mentioned anywhere on the page, or on any of my pages.

Anyone able to explain? Or at least tell me if I need to be checking something/somewhere else.

Hope this is the right forum. As I'm not a techie (haha like you couldnt tell), I dont' get in here much so can you please try to reply in English?

Thanks folks

Google webmaster tool is 70% useless.

At least I don't pay much attention to "keyword" section.

If you put your URL in Adwords keyword (KW) tool and nothing relevant comes up, then you got your context wrong.

I think Adwords is the closest to "real deal" on how google weighs in on your keywords. If your targeted keywords not showing up throughout your post, then either a) Adwords Keyword tool cannot read your site, or b) your keywords are wrong.

    What is your site?

There are plenty of other keyword tools, but in terms of SEO Adwords KW Tool is the best.

Well, it Adwords isn't bringing up anything.

      my site is www(dot)articlemarketingexplosion.net

Any ideas? As far as I'm aware, the keywords are there for all to see, including Google.

remove the www and check the box to crawl links on my site seems to give a "little" more relevant results...

The kw's it picks up are pretty troubling .. like the "forex" group. There aren't even sites in the same IP range that mention forex. Maybe you found a google loophole?

Perhaps it may be doing a search to see which sites your url shows up on that rank the highest. I did a site search on google for your url and added forex and there were 3 sites that matched.

Maybe this is some reverse engineering of the keyword tool?

Ok, now you've lost me lol.

What do you mean by reverse engineering, and what sort of loophole?

My concern is that if it's picking up the wrong keywords, how the heck do I get ranked for the keywords I'm targeting?
