Hey Warriors,

Can anyone provide information on

streaming videos online.

Amazon s3 etc.


Need a programmer to help and can be hired too.

I create videos and need them to be protected

    What do you mean protected? You can use Amazon cloud system which actually will give web space only. If you wan to protect with watermarks your visoe when you should use render software which can be search over google.

    Do you want to set it up on your own server or are you looking for a service provider that will host your videos and deliver the streams?

    You can use Red5 if you are looking for something that you set up yourself, but it's not for beginners.

    And it looks like Amazon has a service as well, in beta: Amazon CloudFront

      I have been looking into amazon s3 for while but don't know how it works ..

    Did you try the "SIMPLE MONTHLY CALCULATOR" at Amazon?

    The cost will vary with the bandwidth. Number of viewers, file size and so on.
