URGENT!!!! LOST EVERYTHING!!!! ***USER PROFILE SERVICE FAILED/USER PROFILE CANNOT BE LOADED

URGENT!!!!! NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!

I use Windows Vista Operating System.

Yesterday my system locked up on me; I shut it down, then restarted it.

When I attempted to log in under my Username, it gave the following error messages: "User Profile Service Failed when you try to log into Windows Vista. User Profile cannot be loaded."

After numerous attempts of entering my password; I shut the system down again; restarted it and searched Google for a solution; I followed the directions in this link:

Error message when you log on to a Windows Vista-based or Windows 7-based computer by using a temporary profile: "The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded"

However, when I logged onto the newly created User, my Desktop, all my files, all my photos, music, and Microsoft Office Suite application and files were GONE!!!!

The other Users' Desktop and documents are still there and in place, but all the information under my original User are gone!

How do I recover all this stuff? Please tell me that there's hope!!!!

Thanking you in advance for any help you can give me to bring all this stuff back up without having to lug this CPU into the nearest computer repair shop to have it restored.

Ouch, on the Welcome screen, if you are seeing it, tap CTRL + ALT + DEL two-three times. A log on window should appear. Try entering administrator as username, and leave blank for password or enter whatever your administrator password is...
If you can log in, check if there's C:\Users\username , if there is, all the files should be there too.
Also, maybe you can try booting your PC from a bootable CD (Hiren's BootCD, Ultimate boot CD etc) or you can take out your HDD a connect it to another PC and see if the files are preserved...

Anyway, I always keep my files on the second partition (D) My documents, Program files, pics, music etc, and keep copies on the second HDD...

    webtrix,

I appreciate your help. I checked the C:\Users\username but my original files are not there; only the files of the other two users.

I really need to restore the pictures/photos under my User because they were not backed up. If all else fails, I will go to my backup from last week but my pictures and music were backed up on a flashdrive that was lost.

I'll continue to search for a solution and I'll check back to see if anyone else comes up with a viable solution here in the forum.

    Thank you.
