How do I set up a countdown clock on a web page?

PROGRAMMING

I need to set up a countdown clock on a web page. But that's not all... when the clock strikes zero, I also need the page to change.

However, I have no idea how to approach it. Can I do it with PHP alone or will I need JavaScript/JQuery or Flash?

Any ideas?
