Think this will work? Reality Check

Hey guys, long time no see.

I came here this time to make a reality check before investing some money on development.

My niche has always been Tourism for the Spanish Speaking market. As of this time, I think my site reached a peak of conversion (not too high to be honest) and is not going to make any more revenue than it really making at the moment.

All my site has been build up by hand on wordpress, so I do money out from affiliates, selling hotels nights, tours in the city, airplane tickets, and so on.

As for the Hotels, I still think I can make much more. And I am thinking in develop a search engine, and actually take real time availability by putting dates, type of hotel, etc. Until now I has been doing it with just links referring to hotels, but I think real time availability will make it a richer user experience.

You think the investment will be worth? You think I can have better conversion with this type of model?

Sorry about separating letters within the urls, but the system doesnt allow me to put urls until I reach 15 post (!)

Would love to hear from you.

There shouldn't really need to be any investment to do this. You can set a wordpress 3 or wordpress_mu 2.x multi blog site to go so far as subdomains and full url permalink seo setup started with plain old wordpress way back...
Perhaps you should invest your money in some consulting time instead. An hour with somebody who has the answers you're looking for could be more valuable than trying to pay for some development you might not need...

I think it may be worth it for you , as I don't think it would cost very much, depending on some variables.

if you can find a feed for your criteria, then most of the work is done for you. There are quite a few wordpress plugins that can handle feeds, and you may need to just pay a few bucks to get it integrated.

You can also download hotel lists with all their details from many of the affiliate sites (like affiliatefuture.com), once you have these spreadsheets you can filter for your area (lisboa). It is manual again, but can look the same.

One of the big hotel sites has a great set of tools, I think it is laterooms.com or hotels.com, but I didnt use it because their cookie was not very long. But maybe you can use their feed without sending them the lead.
