How to Change WordPress 3.0 Version to 2.9 ??

Hello,

Does anyone knows how I can change WP 3.0 version to 2.9? I didn't choose it, I just registered and likely WP create my blog on this version. How may I change it?

    Registered? Can you please elaborate?

    If its a brand new blog you installed on your server, just delete the whole thing and download a suitable version from Download › Release Archives

      Thank you webfighter for your reply, but I didn't did anything with my server, I just go through the wordpress.com, sign up and filled all required information to open new blog with wordpres.com end, like on Google - blogger.com

        You've no control over the version of wordpress WordPress.com — Get a Free Blog Here uses.

        And as KathyK mentioned, you can't really promote anything there unless you're there for backlinking purposes or promoting you other websites.

    Why would you want a wordpress.com blog? You can't do any IM on it.

    Sorry to say but Wordpress.com is really only good as a web 2.0 property to generate backlinks to your personal wordpress website. You have no control over the site, the plugins, etc.
