Can't delete a password of a website from Firefox 3.6.8.

Hi,

If someone could help, please, I'd appreciate it a lot. The issue is with Firefox 3.6.8., and even going to Tools, Options, Security, Passwords and deleting, this does not work. Even clearing browser and Cookies folder on computer. Nothing works.



No matter what I do it seems one website will not log out once and for all, even if I change the password there. Firefox maintains the old one and keeps that site open all the time.

    This is the problem with the junk temp files in system.
    Erase all temp files in system or
    reinstall firefox and click remove passwords for site.

      Wow, that's sad to have to go that far for a fix. Firefox needs to work on that. Seriously.

      Thanks for sharing the info, though! I actually had tossed hands in the air a bit earlier, and just went in and deleted the account on the site in question. That was an option this time, luckily.

    Normally, removing the password from the saved password in Tools should work. I see no reason why you should even delete the temp file as it will affect other passwords as well.

      I agree about normally. From searching the web, this issue looks like it is a specific glitch with this Firefox edition.
